I also can't decide if I really want to support them as I have in the past, or if the writing is on the wall and this company is in big, big trouble. The strongest alternative to Evernote is Microsoft OneNote, and for that reason, I have a lot to say about it. I have Notability as well so that's an option for my school notes should I stick with OneNote, but man, the EN storage and annotation built into one is pretty killer. Most of my school readings are PDF files so I've been using Evernote to store/annotate my readings. The only thing that has me considering a switch back is the PDF annotation. At the moment using OneNote which comes bundled with that makes more sense, and it makes even more sense should I decide to buy Office after I'm done my schooling. That means that whether you make a weather app or an app that is tied to a more complex.

I use OneNote at work and I enjoy it, and because I take online courses through a local university I get Office 365 for free. For developers, the good news is that every application type will be eligible for subscription pricing. I intended on emailing my feedback to Evernote, but there is no easily obtained. I will most likely be downgrading to free next year when my subscription ends. Previously priced at 2.99 per month, the package now costs 3.

I don't get 70 a year utility from my subscription. Evernote Plus allows for syncing with unlimited devices, but limits monthly uploads to 1GB. I'm in Canada so shelling out $90 bucks a year for a note taking app. It turns out that the 35 a year plan no longer exists and the lowest cost paid plan is 70. I have been a premium subscriber since about 2011 and I never considered anything else until this price increase.
